As a Christian, one of the subtlest yet deadliest ways to fall into sin is skipping weekly church service. Why? The influences week in week out from sources like school, friends, television, movies, advertisements, Internet, magazines and books are not always spiritually healthy. Especially considering the influences of the mass media on youth culture. It often connects coolness with smoking, sex, drugs, rock, Satan-related styles, vengeance, aggression, rebellion, etc. In a way, attending church not only provides the right influences but also lead the weary, the griever and the lost to the ultimate Solace.

That is notwithstanding that we go to church with the right motive. Some of us go to church with the purpose of having fun and an opportunity to hang out with friends. Others go with intentions to get into a relationship. Although none of the reasons above are in and of itself wrong, yet they should never be the main purpose for attending services or church activities. The primary purpose should be to find God in our lives, to grow closer to Him, and to grow stronger in our inner man (Ephesians 3:16). So make it a point to go to church weekly and go with the right intentions. Who knows, you might just find yourself enjoying it!

awesome national day parade man!

really nice celebrating it with my 2 cousins.
all 3 of us haven seen the NDP for at least 2 years!

the food was alright but the company was nice.
enjoyed it pretty well.

the fireworks were alright but the screaming during
the fireworks was like the epic peak of the dinner!

went to starbucks after that to chat with some of them.
haven really sat down to talk for quite sometime already.

Today was indeed a day i'll describe as coolness.

finally met lewis after such a BLOODY long time.
nice catching up with old friends.

there was a mircale today that i must say!
i was in 88 yeah. normal bus i take home every sat.
nothing special there...

during the journey, i smsed james to thank him for
trusting me with his car! YES!! I DROVE TODAY!! TOTAL COOLNESS!
excited about driving already! hahas.(and no i dint crash)

back to my point, so i missed my stop (felt like shit actually)
cause the next stop was pretty far away.
decided to take till the end of the bus interchange where i'll transfer to
another bus.

now heres the special part!
when i was leaving my seat, i saw this brown wallet just under my seat,
IVE NO IDEA WHY I WAS ABLE TO SEE the wallet!!
i mean its brown and it was under the shadow!
picked it up and brought it to the bus station.

that idiot who dropped his wallet better be thanking God!
hahas! coolness right!

this is probably the first time i found something on a bus!
hahas.

TODAY WASSSS SSUUCCHH an awsome day i must say.

totally brought a new meaning to the term present(:

celebrated an advance birthday with 1 of my dad's agent.

they gave both of us an assortment of tibits. but it was awsome!
well. its just kinda the meaning behind each of the items they
chose.

so yeah. price isnt always the best aspect of a present.
even though i must say usually the presents we want are EXPENSIVE!

damn. many holidays messed up my clock.
mistaken friday for a thursday.

its been almost a week and im still unemployed.

recently and have a family to support.

anyway. now im reluctant about Commando.
no idea should i tell them during the test that i

Pros: -5 years lesser reservice
-dont mind trying something different
-good incentive to get fit

Cons: -if im out of course (im screwed)
*i would have to suck it up in infantry
-if i dont pass out, i wont get pay (screwed up system)
-worried i dont have the balls to jump of a bloody plane.

oh well. lets see how it goes while i think through about this.

just received my VOCATIONAL ASSESSMENT NOTICE!
WHAT THE HECK!
according to Google(the "awsomest") website, its a camp
to test and spot people for commando's.

ironically, thats the LAST VOCATION I WAS LOOKING AT!
even being a clerk was infront of a commando.

its really funny how sometimes the more you dont want it the more
you get of it? like an hour before i realise that it was a commando camp,
my mom was making a like huge joke of how i'll never get into commando
because of my spects. my degree is around like 275 and commando's accept
until 300.

and *POOF* God sent me a commando letter-.- (thanks God for disproving my mum)
oh well. see how it goes. im not that fit. doubt i'll go in. but it'll be real cool if i do though.
heard from my dad that you'll only need to serve 5 years re-service (instead of 10).

oh well. just hope i dont embrasses myself during the test. bet i'll see like
huge people there.

lets see where I go! test is in 2 weeks. better go train alittle... ate too much man.
